Marine News, August 10, 2013: The search is still on for two Chinese crew members who fell overboard when ships collided in the Yangtze River.

A Panama-registered ship collided with a Chinese cargo vessel at the mouth of the Yangtze River in the wee hours of the morning on August 7. On collision, three crew members from the Chinese cargo ship fell into the river. A passing vessel managed to rescue one of the three seafarers, while there has been no sign of the other two. The 16 seafarers were taken to safety by ships that had arrived for help. The authorities have indicated that the search is still on for the two missing crew members.
